In collaboration with Gensler
Co-Project Lead | Environmental Design & Spatial Strategy
In a 10-week SCADpro collaboration with AIG and Gensler, I co-led the design of the new AIG Innovation Hub in Atlanta, a workplace environment designed to foster collaboration, connection, and future-focused thinking.
Led a team of 20 interdisciplinary designers in developing a spatial experience for AIG’s new Innovation Hub in Atlanta. Our focus was to create a narrative-driven system that connected the space to the identity of the city—both its history and its future.
Design Story
concept, “From Terminus to Tomorrow,” positioned the building as a key to the city: a space of movement, transformation, and access. Drawing from Atlanta’s roots as a rail center and its reputation as the City in the Forest, we developed a spatial naming system grounded in the idea of evolution—starting from the city’s oldest neighborhoods and moving toward the newest, with each floor representing a different stage of growth.
AR Video
extend the narrative beyond the physical environment, our team concepted an AR walkthrough experience. By scanning a QR code, visitors would be able to unlock an augmented reality layer that brought the story of Atlanta to life—learning about neighborhoods, history, and culture as they navigated the building. This added a layer of interaction and storytelling that made the space not only functional, but immersive and educational.

We worked across multiple environmental touchpoints, including wayfinding, mural design for the stairwells, collaborative wall systems, and booth artwork—each element crafted to embed Atlanta’s spirit and AIG’s forward-thinking mindset into the space.
